Design of Agustina Arana collection, a pattern series created exclusively for Casa Orue Albizuri project (Vizkaya), then applied on wallcovering material with Lin texture.
Pattern design for a wallcovering collection, in collaboration with SaizVerdoux Architects for Casa Orue Albizuri, an old manor house of the 19th Century. Today reconverted into a luxury holiday house, located in Gautegiz Arteaga, Biscay, Basque Country.
The inspiration for the patterns comes from the family heritage, that after researching gave rise to 3 patterns with vegetables shapes of di erent nuances, and coherent tones, evolving inside the house. They evoke the valley, the beginning of spring, the transparen- cy of rst petals and the burst of blooming.
We print all patterns on high-end paper wallcover, especially suitable for contract spaces, as it is highly resistant to cha ng and humidity, completely washable and reproof with "Class 0" certi cate. Its texture is soft and with some roughness that evoke a linen fabric.
Casa Orue Albizuri is one of our collaborations with other professionals of the industry. For this occasion, we started from zero to create a new pattern, totally adapted to the project needs.
